Nissan announced today sales for March of 95,438 units, an increase of 18% compared to last year representing a market share of 4.8%. Financial Year sales across Europe reached 664,471 units representing an increase of 2.6% year on year.
March highlights:
- Best-selling Nissan models for the month were the crossovers Qashqai & Juke contributing to record monthly sales for the region.
- Nissan’s all electric LEAF recorded the best month since its launch in FY’10, with 2,177 units sold
- UK and Russia continue to be the leading European markets.
- 4.8% market share for March recording highest market share in FY2013
- Market share in Germany has been above last year’s performance for 7 months consecutively – the best March market share result for 19 years was reported.
