Maciej Szymanski, Policy Officer – Sustainability Mobility and Automotive Industry, European Commission, has been confirmed as a speaker at Automotive World Megatrends Europe 14, taking place on September 10-11, 2014.
Maciej Szymański is a member of the ‘Sustainable Mobility and Automotive Industry’ Unit within the Directorate General Enterprise and Industry and is responsible for the light-duty vehicles emission legislation and economic situation of the European automotive industry.
He graduated in 2005 from the Technical University of Łódź, Poland, with a degree in Business and Technology. During his professional career he worked for the international companies operating in Central and Eastern Europe markets where he managed technological projects. He joined the European Commission in 2012.
Organised by Automotive World, Megatrends Europe ’14 is a two-day, six-stream conference focusing on Commercial Vehicles and Passenger Cars.
Szymanski will speak as a panelist on Day 1: Commercial Vehicle, in Stream 1: Powertrain Innovation, which will focus on key breakthroughs in commercial vehicle powertrain technology that will lead to greater fuel economy and emissions reduction.
