Honda expresses its deepest sympathy and condolences to the victims of The 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake in Japan.
With the hope to contribute to the earliest possible relief and recovery of affected areas, Honda will provide the following aid:
- Honda’s Aid for the Affected Areas
- Honda will be donating 50 million yen to the Kumamoto Prefecture.
- Honda will be providing gasoline-powered generators, in addition to emergency food and water supplies.
- Honda has made available to the public, road accessibility data for the affected areas in the Kumamoto Prefecture from its Internavi network, on Google Maps and Yahoo! Maps.

Honda has halted manufacturing-related operations at its Kumamoto Factory (Ozu-machi, Kikuchi-gun, Kumamoto Prefecture) since the night of April 14, and has not commenced operations on April 15, due to inspection of the facility. A decision to commence operations on April 18 or later will be made based on factors including the state of the facility.
