The GAZelle NEXT won first prize in the “Best Commercial Vehicle in Russia – 2013” contest in the Best Van\Light-Duty Truck category. The results of the contest were tallied up during the 12th International Specialized Exhibition “Commercial Transport 2013” (Comtrans 2013). The judges at the contest included journalists from professional magazines covering automotive and commercial transport issues.

The design of the GAZelle NEXT, launched in April 2013, combines state-of-the-art engineering solutions, high levels of active and passive safety, and excellent ergonomics in the driver’s cabin. All this makes the new model a perfect choice for professionals. The long service life and short pay-back period of the vehicle, which can be used in various business areas, are aptly complimented by the extended warranty, low maintenance costs, high fuel efficiency and the best price in its class. The GAZelle NEXT’s extended warranty covers three years or 150,000 km. The service interval mileage has been increased to 20,000 km.

The chairman of the panel of judges for the “Best Commercial Vehicle in Russia” contest and editor in chief of ComTrans magazine, Alexander Solntsev, noted: “GAZ was able to build a convenient and practical vehicle that ensures high economic efficiency. I am very glad that Russian companies demonstrate the commitment and capability to produce state-of-the-art and competitive commercial vehicles”.

At Comtrans 2013 GAZ showed new models of NEXT family, among which were: a small-sized bus, a crew-cab version, the NEXT LDT and nine versions of specialty vehicles.
