The following are the key highlights for May 2013
Eicher branded trucks and buses have registered sales of 3687 units in May 2013 as compared to 3587 units in May 2012, representing a growth of 2.8%. The YTD 2013 sales stand at 19992 units as compared to LYTD 2012 sales of 21995 units, representing a drop of 9.1%.
In the domestic CV Market (5T and Above), Eicher trucks and buses have recorded sales of 3488 units as compared to 3432 units in May 2012, representing a growth of 1.6%. YTD 2013 sales stand at 19190 units as compared to LYTD 2012 sales of 20918 units, representing a drop of 8.3%.
1. In the domestic 5-14T LMD truck segment, Eicher recorded sales of 1833 units in May 2013 as compared to 1899 units in May 2012, representing a drop of 3.5%. YTD 2013 sales stand at 11600 units as compared to LYTD 2012 sales of 13467 units, representing a drop of 13.9%
2. In the domestic bus segment, May 2013 sales stand at 1240 units as compared to 932 units in May 2012, representing a 33 % growth. The YTD 2013 sales stand at 4560 units as compared to LYTD 2012 sales of 3777 units, representing a 20.7% growth. 3. In the Heavy Duty truck segment(16T and above), May 2013 sales stand at 415 units as compared to 601 units in May 2012, representing a 30.9% drop. YTD 2013 Eicher HD sales stand at 3030 units as compared to LYTD 2012 sales of 3674 units, representing a drop of 17.5%.
