2019 is about E-TENSE
Initiated as a curtain-raiser for the Geneva International Motor Show, at the heart of the oasis that is the DS STORE Geneva, the Summit New Energy. E-TENSE Era enabled Yves Bonnefont, CEO of DS Automobiles, Jean-Éric Vergne, Formula E champion and E-TENSE ambassador, Marco Piffaretti of Energie 360° and Ståle Frydenlund from the Norwegian EV Association to share their responses to the challenges of energy transition.
E-TENSE is DS Automobiles’ global vision for energy transition. This new avant-garde strategy for electrification has led to the brand offering all its new models in versions that are 100% electric or high-performance plug-in hybrid, combined with a suite of dedicated services.
Jean-Éric Vergne shared his Manifesto for a New Life. E-TENSE ambassador for DS Automobiles, the Formula E champion and DS E-TENSE FE19 driver is committed to sustainable development and is taking part in the E-TENSE project with DS Automobiles.
In Geneva, encouraged by its victories in Formula E, DS Automobiles began selling its E-TENSE range. DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE is the first 100% electric premium B-SUV with 320 kilometres of range and
DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4×4 is the first premium plug-in hybrid SUV with 50 kilometres of range in zero emissions mode (WLTP cycle), 300 horsepower and four-wheel drive.
