- DHL Global Forwarding will provide freight management services for BP Upstream
- New five-year global framework agreement expands extensive business cooperation
DHL, the world’s leading logistics company, has signed a new five-year global agreement with the British oil and gas company BP. DHL will provide freight management services for BP’s upstream business with DHL Global Forwarding covering the initial scope of work and providing inbound freight forwarding services to support BP’s global upstream operations and major capital projects. Upstream solutions relate to both the exploration and production of oil and gas. Express delivery services will also be integrated as part of the scope of services.

DHL and BP already have an agreement on downstream logistics for fuels and lubricants in Europe in place, which involves DHL Supply Chain providing warehousing and distribution services.
