What’s New – November 2018

The 2019 model year is another big one for Nissan, starting with the November launch of the all-new 2019 Nissan Altima, which is the first application of all-wheel drive on a Nissan sedan in North America, and fitted as standard in Canada. The 2019 Altima is bringing fresh style and excitement back to the mid-size sedan category with new exterior and interior styling, a new platform, and an updated 2.5L engine. It has a starting MSRP of $27,9981.

Also added to the list of autumn debuts are the 2019 Rogue; Qashqai; Murano and Kicks.

Arriving to showrooms early 2019 is the 2019 TITAN and TITAN XD – both available with the dynamic new Fender Premium Audio System.
The 2019 Nissan lineup got off to an early start last spring with the 370Z, followed in the summer by Sentra, Versa Sedan, Frontier, LEAF and Armada. Specific information on each of these models follows.

Some of the key changes for the 2019 model year include the wide adoption of the Rear Door Alert (RDA) system and NissanConnect® with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™.

Also new for 2019 is Nissan Safety Shield 360, a suite of active safety technologies, first available on the all-new 2019 Altima and 2019 Rogue, followed by Maxima and Murano in early 2019. Nissan Safety Shield 360 will come standard on one million new vehicles sold annually in North America by 2021. The suite of advanced driver-assist systems includes Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and Rear Intelligent Emergency Braking. Safety Shield 360 supports the Nissan Intelligent Mobility vision to redefine how cars are driven, powered and integrated into society.
