The advent of connected technology means more objects can send essential measurements to a data Cloud, and OEMs and suppliers are already taking advantage of this to improve supply chain visibility. Key to this are sensors which can measure not just a vehicle or component’s location, but also its condition and surrounding environment. Bosch demonstrated this at the Hannover Messe 2016.
