The Camaro gets fans excited, but a Camaro convertible takes it a step further

The Chevrolet Camaro plays a pivotal role in GM's brand strategy and the pressure is only increasing for the next-generation model. The current Camaro has been the top selling performance car in the US for five years and GM is keen to retain the title. In May, it unveiled the sixth-generation Camaro to fans at Detroit’s Belle Isle, and the company has now followed this up with an unveiling of the convertible version.
