The automotive market in Thailand continues to contract, with the country's economy hit by lower commodity prices and sluggish investment. The new vehicle market has been going through an extended period of declining sales owing to such factors, which have led to poor consumer confidence. Last year, sales plummeted 33.7% compared with 2013 levels.
