Takata airbag crisis mounts as senators call for criminal investigation

Further questions have been asked of Takata following more quality control issues

Takata has suffered for years allegations of quality control issues, but what started as an ongoing airbag-related recall could now snowball into a major corporate scandal after a video posted online appears to show airbag modules falling off a forklift before being loaded onto a truck for delivery to a vehicle manufacturer. According to further allegations, Takata engineers tested airbag inflators in secret in 2004, but were ordered by company executives to destroy the findings of those tests.
