Shareholder value spurs rumble in GM’s boardroom

Some shareholders believe that GM's cash cushion is too plump. Could a new board member steer strategy in a different direction?

Harry Wilson, a former member of the Presidential Task Force on the Auto Industry, is inviting himself to GM's Board of Directors. He has notified the OEM that he plans to nominate himself as a candidate for election at the company’s 2015 annual stockholders meeting.
