The European Truck Platooning Challenge held during the first quarter of 2016 saw six OEMs – DAF Trucks, Daimler Trucks, Iveco, MAN Truck & Bus, Scania and Volvo Trucks – utilize semi-automated platooning technology on public roads across various European countries.
