For now, driverless cars still need drivers

There is resounding scepticism surrounding the prospect of an autonomous vehicle with no driver controls. By Freddie Holmes

A new report issued by Google reveals that test drivers of its autonomous vehicles have had to regain control of the vehicle 272 times between September 2014 and November 2015 in California. During this period, a total of 424,331 miles (682,895km) were driven autonomously.
