Lucid has announced the finalisation of a US$300m investment from Uber, closing the deal first announced in July. The funding underpins a premium robotaxi programme that is set to use Lucid’s Gravity electric SUVs—fitted with SAE Level 4 autonomous driving technology from Nuro—and operate exclusively on Uber’s ride-hailing platform.
