Shortly after Lexus unveiled its LC 500 Hybrid at the Geneva Motor Show, the company announced that it has sold over one million hybrid vehicles to date. Since the launch of the RX 400h in 2005, Lexus has continued to expand its hybrid line-up, and now offers ten different hybrid models. The LC 500h will be the latest addition to that list when it goes on sale in the spring of 2017.
Speaking to Automotive World, Robert Tickner, General Manager Product and Marketing, Lexus Europe, explained the significance of the LC 500h, and described the future of powertrain development.
