Toyota is scrapping the Scion sub-brand and incorporating the model offering into its own brand line-up. The message from management is that Scion has successfully served its purpose and that it was never intended to stick around forever. Conversations with analysts suggest a lack of investment yielded stuttering sales and it's time to cut losses.
