Jeep’s globalisation strategy moves forward with opening of Brazilian plant

FCA has opened its largest and most advanced manufacturing facility yet, with the official inauguration of its new plant in Pernambuco, Brazil. It has invested a total of €2.2bn in this facility

Last year was a good one for Jeep. The brand accounted for sales of 1,017,019 vehicles for the full year 2014, which was 39% more than the 731,565 units sold in 2013, which in itself was a record for the company. This was the fifth consecutive year of sales growth for Jeep worldwide.
