Is GM eyeing Brazil for Cadillac as sales in China dry up?

GM is reportedly considering a launch strategy for its Cadillac brand in Brazil, although it might struggle to find a place. By Will Girling

At a special event hosted in Detroit, General Motors reportedly confirmed its intention to launch the Cadillac brand in Brazil by Q4 2025 or Q1 2026, according to a 15 June 2025 article by GM Authority. This update was apparently also corroborated by spokespeople from General Motors do Brasil, the automaker’s largest subsidiary in South America.
