Investments continue to pour into UK manufacturing

General Motors' Vauxhall has two major vehicle manufacturing facilities in the UK – Luton and Ellesmere Port. Out of the OEM's total workforce of around 4,500 people, around 1,171 are employed at the Luton plant. This plant produces around 45,000 vehicles a year, operating one shift.
