Plug-in hybrids will eventually become a mainstream option, but wireless charging is some years away, says Ford's Michael Tinskey

Ford has seen its share of plug-in vehicles leap, grasping 14.7% of the US market during the first nine months of 2013, up from 7.3% during 2012, and this continues to grow each month.

Ford’s Associate Director of Vehicle Electrification & Infrastructure, Michael Tinskey, is currently focused on Ford’s sustainability activities including electric vehicles and infrastructure. Tinskey recently spoke to Automotive World on the sidelines of the International Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exhibition (EVS27).
