Industry players address ‘chicken and egg’ problem for alternative powertrains

Barbara Bonvissuto, Deputy Head of Unit – Sustainable Mobility and Automotive Unit, DG Enterprise and Industry, European Commission discussed the EU regulatory framework for alternative powertrains and efforts to achieve “better quality, fight against climate change, security of energy supply and reduce dependency” at day one of Automotive World’s Megatrends Europe 2013 conference in Brussels, Belgium.
