Engine remanufacturing is becoming “increasingly radical,” says Autocraft Drivetrain Solutions

The remanufacturing of engines has become increasingly important as OEMs look to meet future emissions and fuel economy legislation and improve on the power of their applications, whilst keeping costs down.

Autocraft Drivetrain Solutions Ltd is a UK-based manufacturer and remanufacturer of engines and transmissions. It claims to be Europe’s largest remanufacturer of engines, and notes General Motors, Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo, Aston Martin and Chrysler among its customers.
