It's another month of decline for the UK car market as the region is hit not only with terrorist attacks and political elections but also changes in new car tax and diesel policies. After a 19.8% drop in April registrations, May brought in another 8.5% fall. Both private and fleet sales were down, though business purchases jumped 20.1%. There are many different factors at work, but opinions vary on which is having the biggest impact.
