Dongfeng-Nissan has commenced manufacturing a 1.5-litre engine designed exclusively for plug-in hybrid applications ahead of the Q4 2025 launch of the N6 sedan. The naturally-aspirated NR15 unit will debut in the Japanese carmaker's first plug-in hybrid model developed specifically for the Chinese market.
