Detroit leads the way in show circuit reinvention

The auto show circuit is reinventing itself in the wake of wider industry developments, and the struggle to remain relevant is real. The industry is no longer just about cars and trucks. Manufacturers are keen to talk about - and demonstrate - non-traditional projects such as shared mobility and connected technology. At the same time, the convergence of consumer and automotive electronics has seen a growing presence from OEMs and suppliers at events like CES. For the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), it's time for a change.
