OEMs are investing in a wide variety of technologies to meet future fuel economy and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions standards. Within these regulations, there are “ a number of flexibilities” that help OEMs comply with the standards, explained Steven Sherman, Fuel Economy Development Engineer at the Hyundai-Kia America Technical Centre, Inc.
