BYD is stepping up its expansion plans in Saudi Arabia, which it officially entered back in February 2024. In a 14 July 2025 interview with Bloomberg, the automaker’s Managing Director for the country, Jerome Saigot, emphasised the need for speed and “think[ing] big” in a “complex market”.
