With both domestic and export sales continuing on a less than confident note, automotive production in Thailand has been hit. The domestic market has been adversely affected by the political situation in the country, while a general slowdown has impacted export markets. At the end of October, automotive production in the country was down 25.9% year-on-year at 1.56 million units.
