April confirms Europe’s CV market on track for solid year

Stronger GDP growth combined with low fuel prices and interest rates are bolstering sales across Europe's commercial vehicle segments

The European commercial vehicle (CV) market remained buoyant in April, continuing on its projected growth path for the full year. Across the EU CV registrations rose 12.2% year-on-year to 169,746 units, according to the latest figures from ACEA. The growth covered all the major markets and all the segments. For the January-April period, CV registrations remained up 13% across the region at 671,701 units, though growth rates varied dramatically by region.
