German supplier Hella is forming a joint venture with Chinese vehicle manufacturer BAIC. The two companies aim to finalise the partnership by the end of this year.
Under the arrangement, BAIC’s joint venture Beijing Hainanchuan Automotive Parts (BHAP) will become an equal partner in the Chinese subsidiary Hella Beifang Automotive Lighting
