Paice and its investor Abell Foundation have filed a lawsuit in Baltimore, Maryland against Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors, alleging patent infringement. According to Bloomberg, Paice claims that the South Korean OEMs have infringed on three patents regarding hybrid technology, as used in the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and the Kia Optima
