Allison Transmission has announced the opening of a new 203,000sq-ft manufacturing facility in Chennai, India. In addition to being capable of manufacturing drivetrain components, the state-of-the-art facility will also serve as the regional headquarters of Allison Transmission India Pvt Ltd, housing its executive and regional sales offices.
