Data compiled by the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) shows that production of cars, trucks and buses in Europe in 2009 decreased by 17.3% compared with 2008 levels to 15.2 million units. Compared to 2007 output levels, last year's production was down 23%.
