New car registrations in Belgium fell by 11.1% in 2009 to 476,194 units, compared with 535,947 cars registered in 2008. This drop was the result of sales declines earlier in the year, which offset the 21.1% increase recorded in December 2009.
Registration of new cars rose to 26,449 units last month,
