New range, new investment: Volkswagen backs Brazil CVs

Roberto Cortes speaks to Megan Lampinen about the upcoming new model range and how it, along with political stabilisation, should bolster volumes across the industry

The time is ripe for investment in Brazil's commercial vehicle (CV) industry, according to Volkswagen's Brazilian truck and bus unit, Caminhões e Ônibus. The division is wrapping up its current investment cycle, which started in 2012 and runs through 2017, culminating with the launch of the new Delivery family of light trucks.
