Neumann plans to have Opel in the black by 2016

Opel's Neumann discusses product development, including powertrain, connectivity and line-up expansion

After saying last year that the brand planned to launch 23 new cars and 13 new engines, Opel has been busy. Dr Karl-Thomas Neumann, Chief Executive Opel/Vauxhall, is optimistic about the company’s outlook for the coming years. After “fixing the past quality problem” and now with a line-up of “great cars with a lot of focus on quality”, the OEM hopes to be in the black by 2016 at the latest. At the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, Neumann discussed Opel’s product development, including powertrain, connectivity and line-up expansion.
