Tier IV lays a foundation for innovation with new AV kit

Japanese autonomous vehicle (AV) pioneer Tier IV launched a starter kit (called ‘DTV’) for developing the technology on 28 May 2025. This represents the company’s latest bid to lower entry barriers to the sector and ultimately provide consumers with greater access to self-driving vehicles.
