The Swedish Transport Laboratory has granted permission to Scania to operate rigs of 31.5m (103ft) between Södertälje and Helsingborg in Sweden. Before the decision was made, the Swedish Transport Energy completed a series of stability tests on the 31.5-metre long vehicles to demonstrate that they do not present any risk, including during sudden, evasive manoeuvres.
