Long life ahead for the ICE, says Daimler’s Kohler

Prof Dr Herbert Kohler is the man in charge of the greenification of Mercedes-Benz. As Vice President Group Research and Sustainability, Chief Environmental Officer Daimler AG, his remit includes everything from alternative powertrain development to energy-efficient factories. One might therefore expect him to be first in line to ring the death knell for the combustion engine as a vehicle’s sole power source.
