Ben Kraaijenhagen, Product Management Environment and Trends, MAN truck and bus, has been confirmed as a speaker in Stream 1: Fuel Efficiency & Emissions Reduction at Automotive Megatrends Europe ’13, which takes place on 12 November 2013.
Ben has had over 30 years international experience in the international truck, transport and logistics industry.
He joined MAN Truck & Bus AG in early 2005, and was responsible for Product Marketing and the driver behind the current successful TGL, TGM, TGS and TGX series, which were launched in 2007.
Since 2007 Ben has been the Head of central division Foresight, Product Strategy, Requirements and Positioning for Trucks at MAN Truck & Bus AG.
In this role he is leading a team specialising in foresight, monitoring and analysing trends, creation of scenarios, defining new concepts and technologies to be developed for the coming decades.
His focus is sustainable transport and mobility and he is involved in many workshops and interviews with focus groups to discuss and mirror future requirements regarding new legislations, regulations, awareness of climate and human changes. Ben also has a high involvement in many projects to develop concept vehicles including MAN Concept S and MAN Metropolis.
Organised by Automotive World, Automotive Megatrends Europe ’13 is a two-stream, four-session conference. Ben Kraaijenhagen will be speaking in Session 4: Alternative Powertrains.
