Geely Automobile Over Halfway to 2015 Sales Target After Strong First Half

Zhejiang Geely Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (“Geely Automobile”/the “Group”) announced that the Group’stotal sales volume for the firsthalf of 2015 was 252, 107units, an increase of approximately 35% over the same period last year. By the end of June, Geely Auto hadachieved 56% of its full-year 2015 sale stargetof 450,000 units.

Geely Automobile’s sales performance in the first six months of the year was bolstered bygrowth right across the Group’s strengthened product line-up.Combined sales of the ‘EC7’ and ‘New Emgrand’ reached11,807 units, an increase of approximately 13% from the same period in 2014,while the Group’s new ‘Vision’ sedan sold an impressive 56,329 units, a234% increase year over year.Sales of the Group’s SUV model GX7 in the first half of this year were 34,774, an increase of 17% over the same period last year.

The ‘GC9’, Geely Automobile’s first B-segment sedan, which it launched in early April of this year,had sold 5,783 units by the end of the first half. The 2,750 GC9s sold in June, a 38% increase fromMay, madethe GC9 the best-sellingB-segment sedan from any indigenous Chinese automotive brand during that month. The GC9 is the flagship vehicle of the new generation of Geely models conceived by the Group’s international design team.
