After receiving top scores in the Euro NCAP and U.S. NCAP, the Audi A6 has now also achieved outstanding safety results in South Korea. The Korean KNCAP program assesses frontal, side-impact and rear-end collisions, braking and rolling behavior, as well as the pedestrian protection offered by the vehicles. The strict method is unparalleled anywhere in the world.

The loads on the driver and front-seat passenger during the total of four frontal and side-impact collisions were so low that the Audi A6 easily achieved the top score. Thanks to the specially developed seats, the occupants are also very well protected in a rear-end collision.

Pedestrian protection is also a high priority at Audi. The front-end of the A6 has been designed specifically to meet this requirement and helps to mitigate the effects of a collision on pedestrians. The model scores correspondingly well in this discipline.

The assessment also included braking performance on dry and wet surfaces, for which the A6 also received the top score.

Fuel consumption of the model named above:
Audi A6:

Combined fuel consumption in l/100 km: 9.8 – 4.4 (24.0 – 53.5 US mpg);
Combined CO2 emissions in g/km: 229 – 114 (368.5 – 183.5 g/mi)
