WeRide has announced an expansion into Saudi Arabia, launching testing and deployment of robotaxis, robobuses, and robosweepers in Riyadh and al-Ula. The Chinese autonomous driving firm will begin robotaxi pilot operations via Uber's platform in the next few months, with full commercial services expected to follow by the end of 2025.
