Wuling has launched the Hong Guang MINI EV Macaron, the newest member of its popular Hong Guang MINI EV family. Two variants featuring new exterior colors and enhanced safety features are available for between RMB 37,600 and RMB 43,600.
Wuling teamed up with PANTONE UNIVERSE to develop three fashionable new hues for spring: Avocado Green, Lemon Yellow and White Peach Pink. An optional solid-color roof is also available.
The safety of the Hong Guang MINI EV Macaron has been boosted through a standard driver air bag along with the anti-lock braking system with electronic brake force distribution, tire pressure monitoring system, low-speed pedestrian warning system and other functions. The car is equipped with a back-up camera and reverse parking sensors as well.
The Hong Guang MINI EV Macaron retains the 2+2 seating layout. Second-row seatbacks can be folded down for flexibility. Its length of 2,917 millimeters, width of 1,493 millimeters, height of 1,621 millimeters and wheelbase of 1,940 millimeters make the Hong Guang MINI EV Macaron an ideal urban commuter.
The electric vehicle generates 20 kW of maximum power and 85 Nm of maximum torque. It has a top speed of 100 kilometers per hour and a range of up to 170 kilometers on a single charge. The Hong Guang MINI EV Macaron can be charged using a normal 220V outlet. Owners can remotely monitor the status of their vehicle’s battery.
The Hong Guang MINI EV was introduced in July 2020. It has become the best-selling new energy vehicle in China, and is especially popular among the younger generation.
