Highlights from 19th to 21st March 2015 in Munich: MAN TGX D38, EfficientLine 2, Communal Vehicles
More than 170 MAN TGL, TGM, TGS and TGX vehicles used in long-distance transportation, distribution and logistics, construction, heavy duty and communal use, as well as for agriculture and forestry will be on display to visitors. The new MAN TGX D38 series with engine performances of 520 and 560 hp for tractor-trailers, construction vehicles and wood transporters celebrated its launch at the IAA in the autumn of 2014, as did the extremely economical long-distance transportation tractor-trailer, the MAN TGX EfficientLine2. Accompanied by product experts and MAN ProfiDrive trainers, you can test drive the vehicles on MAN’s test track as well as on a country road and motorway circuit. Another exhibit is the flagship of the TGX D38 series – the 640 hp four-axle heavy-duty tractor-trailer.
At the special communal vehicle show, numerous body manufacturers exhibited a range of waste collection vehicles, street sweepers and vehicles for wet cleaning, as well as for road maintenance and winter services, all on MAN Euro 6 chassis. A special exhibition is geared towards visitors who love travelling: Campervans and expedition vehicles on MAN chassis conjure up dreams of travels to distant lands.
In 2015, MAN will be celebrating 100 years of utility vehicle construction. An exhibition of vintage vehicles will remind visitors of the technical innovations pioneered by MAN.
This popular event attracted approximately 6500 visitors in Munich last year and was thus extended from two to three days by MAN. Since 2008, the MAN Trucknology Days have been diarised by interested visitors and fans of the brand. The event is about far more than just trucks: MAN Solutions presents its range of services. Over 100 vehicle body constructors, vehicle outfitters and suppliers will be displaying their products and be on hand to discuss them with interested parties. MAN experts will give presentations to introduce the new TGX D38 and TGX EfficientLine2 models and MAN TeleMatics.
