Philippe Divry, Managing Director, Volvo India and Senior VP, Truck Joint Ventures India, Volvo, has been confirmed as a speaker in The Big Picture session at Automotive World’s CV Megatrends India ’14, which takes place in Chennai on 25 February 2014.
Philippe Divry was appointed as the Managing Director of Volvo India Pvt. Ltd, and Senior Vice President, Truck Joint Ventures India, Volvo Group in August, 2012. He has over two decades of experience in the commercial vehicles and automotive industries, both at Renault Trucks and in the Volvo Group.
As Managing Director for Volvo India Pvt. Ltd., Philippe oversees the resourcing and optimisation of the Volvo Group’s 4000-plus workforce in India and supports the ambitious growth plans of the Group’s different business areas and functions. As Senior Vice President, Truck Joint Ventures India, he is a Board Member of the Volvo Group’s joint venture company VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), and manages and drives the Volvo Group Truck brands business in India with P&L responsibility, in conjunction with VECV.
