Paul Asel, Managing Partner, Nokia Growth Partners (NGP), has been confirmed as a speaker in the Connected Car Session at Automotive Megatrends USA 2015, which takes place on 17 March 2015.

Paul is Managing Partner of NGP and has more than 25 years of investment experience across the US, Europe and Asia. His realised investments have created over US$1bn value for shareholders and he has advised on acquisitions and IPOs valued at over US$7 bn.

He is focused on NGP’s investments in Asia and the US in the mobile, auto and local services sectors. Paul is on the Board of CityMaps, Gigwalk, Intermedia, Luminate and Madhouse. Paul has also been actively involved in Ganji, KongZhong, Network18 and UCWeb. Prior to NGP, Paul worked at the International Finance Corporation, Cadence and Merrill Lynch.

He received an MBA from Stanford and a BA from Dartmouth. Paul is co-author of Upward Bound: Lessons of How Nine Leaders Achieved their Summits. He is an Advisory Board member at the University of Baltimore and has served as an Adjunct Professor at the George Mason School of Public Policy.
