NNG to offer screen projection solutions through Abalta Technologies’ WEBLINK® platform

Global automotive infotainment developer NNG announces their partnership with Abalta Technologies, a leading developer of screen projection technology in the automotive sector. This is in line with NNG’s goal to better incorporate smartphones into vehicles and future-proof the connected car experience.

Smartphones are becoming a more prevalent tool in the car, and as a result, drivers are demanding more synchronization between their smartphone and their car. Abalta’s WEBLINK® platform, which will be added to NNG’s NavFusion Platform, is compatible with iOS and Android operating systems, supports both wired (USB) and wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi + Bluetooth), is brandable to any OEM’s specifications, and is available worldwide. These advantages follow NNG’s strategy of providing Infotainment for All, i.e. navigation and infotainment across all car segments around the globe.

“Our partnership with Abalta will be important as we set our sights on improving the core driving experience. We at NNG are working hard to improve car connectivity, and Abalta has plenty of experience in this field. Their WEBLINK system will allow us to offer a fully flexible range of connectivity options, no matter the processing power of hardware, future industry developments, and individual brand requirements,” said Jim Robnett, VP of Business Development at NNG.

“We are pleased to be partnering with NNG and enabling additional connectivity to their NavFusion Platform through our WEBLINK® platform,” said Michael O’Shea, founder and CEO of Abalta Technologies, Inc. “This partnership will allow NNG’s NavFusion Platform to be the premium smartphone based navigation solution, which can be brought into any OEM’s vehicle that has embedded our WEBLINK® platform.”

NNG and Abalta aim to offer a premium navigation experience for any car segment and any market in the world. OEMs will also have the freedom of creating a fully customizable user experience based on needs and demands, and will also be able to maintain direct contact with their customers. NNG has focused on improving the core driving experience and improving the capabilities of in-car connectivity. Abalta will play a key role in this development as NNG expands its role in the automotive space.
